2. Incorporate the colors of the season into your living room and indoor spaces.
CHANGE OUT AND SELECT objects and decor that speak the season, and choose things that inspire you. Create your collected items over time and make sure to avoid clutter, by placing only the unique items needed for a focal point.
ADD CHUCKY BLANKETS AND THROWS WITH NEW PILLOW COVERS for the sofa and chairs. As a base, consider colors that fit within a fall color palette: Teja reds, smooth caramel, sage cotton velveteen, and golden yellow ochre mohair. Once you’ve done that it’s time to look elsewhere. Do you need to stock up on firewood? Try placing it in a leather basket so it’s easy to carry and looks pretty chic next to the fireplace.

3. Fall/winter bedroom ideas:
CHANGE YOUR BEDDING AND DUVET- Change your linens into something soft. Bring in a warm Duvet. Add a quilt at the foot of your bed for added warmth. This year’s fuzzy teddy faux fur from pottery barn iis perfect., or this collection of bedding. Select a fall palette of colors with grays, greens, burnt orange, and rust. Think about adding layered patterns, or embroidered pieces. Add a cozy blanket.

4. Bring the outdoors inside.
ADD NATURAL DISPLAYS TO YOUR ROOMS. I love to add in natural elements by bringing the outdoors inside and incorporating Dried Grasses, Fall swags, and wreaths along with fresh eucalyptus, olive, and magnolia.
Try dried botanicals, and add warmth to your tabletop decor and surrounding areas. ( see below)
Layer in the scents of seasonal items, like pumpkin spice, and a fire in the fireplace, as added seasonal delights for the senses.

5. Decorating with pumpkins and gourds
Layer in seasonal items into your outdoor areas, like your patio that you will also view from inside, create a display like the one shown above for your coffee table, or dining table, and don’t forget the firepit! I found this beautiful tabletop display you may like.
In addition to the seasonal fall wreath, mums and astors, add a display to your outdoor coffee table or dining. You can create something similar to what is shown above using these copper troughs by Terrain, or this one on Etsy. add a blanket or two around the seating areas for the cooler nights outside and add some fall decor to your entry, I love this bronze pheasant to greet you at your front door or this one for your mantel.
This Himalayan Bark candle in Tobacco is the perfect scent to welcome fall. I purchase a new one every year. It is a welcoming scent in my home. It is also a great hostess gift.
6. Warm Light and Seasonal Fragrances.
Don’t forget the warm light of candles and soft lighting for the Dining Room.

7. Change out some of your dishes, and serving pieces that are on display.
