Choosing tiles can feel overwhelming, but I'm here to guide you. Here are my top 6 tile trends for 2025, focusing on adding depth and personality to your space:
Stone Slab Backsplash: Make a bold statement with a single, stunning stone slab as your backsplash. This creates a seamless, luxurious look and highlights the natural beauty of the stone.
Large Format Tiles: Continue to reign supreme, large format tiles offer a sleek, modern aesthetic and minimize grout lines for a cleaner look. Explore large-format tiles with subtle textures for added interest.
Terra Cotta & Brick Tiles (Especially English Brick): Inject warmth and character with the timeless appeal of terra cotta or brick. English brick, with its charming imperfections, is making a strong comeback, adding a touch of rustic elegance.
Handmade Tiles with Texture and Unique Glazing: Embrace the beauty of imperfection! Handmade tiles, with their tactile surfaces and unique glazes, add artisanal charm and a one-of-a-kind feel to your space.

Continue your Stone Slab into the backsplash
You don’t have to use tile on your backsplash! I suggest that my clients consider repeating your granite/ quartz/ stone from the countertop, up the backsplash area for a luxurious clean look, especially at the Range/ Stovetop area.
This is a modern look that will never go out of style. ( and it’s easy to clean )

English Brick in terra cotta can function just like wallpaper, covering the surfaces with a continuous flow of texture, reflecting light and offering texture to the room.

I want Subway tile. Is that bad since it is everywhere?
Subway tile is a simple, classic addition to any kitchen, bathroom, or fireplace. I know it is very popular right now, and my clients are requesting it all the time.
Also consider a handmade subway tile. It has a wonderful texture and a rich vintage look. If you just can't give up subway tile, but you want something a little more unusual, this handmade tile with its pitted imperfections is the perfect solution.
Consider using a different size for new look, as shown above, we have been using the 6” x 9“ tile for a clean and stylish aesthetic. Take it all the way up to the crown moldings. Easy and affordable and a rich classic look.
Large Format tiles:
Large format tiles are becoming increasingly popular due to their sleek and modern look. They can also help to make a small space feel larger and you will have less grout to worry about.
