Why I’m excited!
If you read my recent article on Conferences and Events that I Attend, then you know this is a conference that I have been honored with participation on the Advisory Board, I have been a featured speaker 3 years in a row, and a returning Influencer of the sessions, Mentoring Communities. #designinfluencerscon
I will be attending and presenting again at the Conference this year! Yay!
This conference is the perfect place to connect with Designers from all over the nation, not just in NY / CT where I am based. Attending this conference has really allowed me to network my business in a wonderful way.
My most trusted mentors and weekly mastermind groups are directly curated from attending this conference. I hope you will be there too! This is a great event to connect and share with our fellow industry peers, designers, and brands, and as always, meet new friends.
And who doesn’t love Nate Berkus? Take a look at this star-studded lineup with “Greenwich is in the house” Alexa Hampton, Miranda Kerr who just launch an amazing new furniture line with Universal, Scot Meacham Wood who was fabulous at the Aspire Designer House at High Point, NC, Famous TV personality and prolific Interior Designer Micheal Smith Boyd, and more.
I hope to see you there.

Deborah von Donop, interior kitchen designer, joined Bakes & Kropp NYC in the fall of 2019, bringing a passion for classical design and training from 20+ years in the design industry. Inspired by the intricacy of fine residential design, Deborah appreciates the way sophisticated, nuanced design can transform a space, and she enjoys the thorough approach it requires. In particular, Deborah takes pleasure in developing designs for custom mill work that encompasses both aesthetics and assembly. Her close collaborations with craftspeople have contributed to successful projects and are fulfilling her passion for exceptional design that is approachable. Further, Deborah’s projects benefit from her expertise in interior design, project management, and material selections. Happiest with a pencil and a straightedge to this day. In her free time, Deborah is writing for her design blog, trying to get to the gym, and raising 3 children with her husband.
