Put some flower power into your home design. Best artificial flowers that look realistic.
Nothing brightens up a room, more than flowers. While I am a true lover of real flowers and fresh greens, sometimes the cost is prohibitive.
“A room without some type of greenery is a room without any oxygen”-Bunny Williams
I know many of you also want fresh flowers but don’t always have the time or availability to buy fresh each week.
Certain seasonal bouquets are wonderful to have at home, to help acknowledge the seasons and refresh your home. I am sharing some of my favorite faux florals and shops.
If there has ever been a time to understand the power of home, it is now. As we spend more time at home we must redefine how our environment can support us in our daily activities, and also bring us joy and calm.
Consider taking some time to refresh your home each season. You will be amazed at the feeling you will have after completing a seasonal change, or just an inspirational update on items and areas that have been on your list for a while.

Why preserved, faux, or silk flowers and botanicals?
I know that a live plant is always the preference, and the more the better., but not all of us have the green thumb and time required to care for large, leafy, or blooming plants. So consider adding in a few preserved seasonal items to the overall mix.
The reality is that natural plants and flowers require time and care.
You may not have the right interior environment, or the skill set to care for real plants despite your best intentions. Many times those beautiful live plants become, well, dead plants!
Artificial plants, silk plants, faux foliage: whatever you want to call them — offer a simple solution. They’ll never outgrow their pots, the leaves will never droop down and turn yellow, and there’s no need to worry about watering or fertilizing.
They’re also pet-safe and child-safe.
You love having seasonal flowers that bring the outdoors in, but you don’t have blooming gardens in the backyard to gather gorgeous flowers and green foliage; buying them again and again throughout the year may not fit your budget. Enter, beautiful faux flowers and plants.
3. Buying flowers to style a photo shoot a party or because you love them, can be expensive.
Designers love good faux flowers. They know that photo shoots can be expensive when adding grand floral arrangements and greenery. As a designer you want your florals and plants to be fantastic because you are inspiring sanctuary and creating a space that people want to live in. When someone looks at your pictures/portfolio, you want them to visualize that they could live in your rooms. Many designers and stylists know that it is cost-effective to purchase preserved botanicals instead of real flowers to save money on future photoshoots and we get to live with them when they’re not in use for a photo shoot. That’s a double gain.

Plant resources for your Rolodex.

When I visit High Point Market, I am always super impressed with the beautiful displays in many of the various showrooms and the ones that really stop me in my tracks are preserved arrangements. Today, even the real florals look fake sometimes!
Using preserved botanicals for a busy household is a great way to bring the outdoors inside without all the hassle of care. Make sure you change them out seasonally.
When considering different arrangements, be sure to consider the container that comes with the bouquet. Place in a featured area for the best impact.
